PETCO Animal Supplies Stores, Inc. seeks a Grooming Salon Leader to oversee grooming salon operations, lead the grooming team, and deliver expert grooming services for pets.

You will coach staff, schedule appointments, ensure safety and top-tier grooming, and drive guest satisfaction in a fast-paced store setting. Ideal candidates have 2+ years as a professional groomer with leadership experience, breed knowledge, strong communication, and a passion for animal care; full-time availability

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as a professional groomer
• 1-2 years previous salon management experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Expert knowledge of breeds and grooming standards
• Availability to work full time including weekends/holidays

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day grooming salon operations and staffing
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise grooming staff
• Create and manage grooming schedules to optimize capacity
• Monitor revenue, customer satisfaction and productivity metrics
• Perform expert grooming services per client instructions
• Ensure safety, cleanliness and sanitation in salon
• Educate clients on grooming maintenance and home care
