Petsense by Tractor Supply is seeking a Salon Leader to oversee the grooming salon operations, lead a team of groomers, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will manage daily activities, training, scheduling, and performance metrics to drive growth and ensure high standards of care for all pets and their families.

The role requires hands-on grooming expertise, 2+ years of experience, and supervisory skills while maintaining safety, efficiency, and quality across all grooming activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years experience grooming pets under leadership of a professional groomer.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Comfortable working with dogs and cats.
• Ability to demonstrate patience and compassion for animals.
• Must provide own grooming tools or be willing to purchase required tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day grooming salon operations, scheduling, safety checklists, and salon audits.
• Ensure grooming SOPs and salon cleanliness standards are met at all times.
• Place monthly supply orders within budget with SM approval.
• Assist in hiring and onboarding new Groomers and Groom Technicians, and mentor trainees.
• Communicate daily/weekly performance and plans to the Store Manager.
• Schedule weekly meetings with SM for staffing, plans, and forecast reviews.
• Drive salon growth by contacting customers, scheduling appointments, and participating in community events.
