Job summary

Petsense is seeking a Salon Leader to manage daily grooming shop operations and drive business growth. You will lead grooming teams, ensure safety, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and customer service for pets and their parents.

You will hire, train, and coach grooming staff, oversee scheduling and budgets, and collaborate with store leadership to achieve targets while delivering exceptional pet care.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years grooming pets under supervision of a professional groomer.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be comfortable working with dogs and cats.
• Must provide own grooming tools or be willing to purchase required tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Groom Shop, including scheduling, safety checklists, and salon audits.
• Audit compliance with grooming SOPs and cleanliness standards.
• Hire and onboard new Groomers and Groom Technicians; mentor during training.
• Communicate daily/weekly sales and grooming metrics to Store Manager.
• Drive salon growth by engaging with customers and community events.
