Job summary

Blain’s Farm & Fleet in Jackson, MI is seeking a Grooming Receptionist to warmly greet customers, answer calls, and schedule grooming appointments within a fast-paced retail setting. You will support a clean, welcoming salon and help manage the daily flow of services.

Responsibilities include explaining services, handling cashier duties, and maintaining safety and cleanliness. Full-time benefits apply, with weekend premium pay and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Great communication skills.
• 1-2 years strong customer service experience.
• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Able to work evenings when needed and at least every other weekend.
• Able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers both in person and on the phone.
• Schedule appointments for grooming.
• Perform routine cleaning of salon.
• Explain services and appointment expectations to each customer.
• Perform Retail Cashier duties.
• Demonstrate awareness and compliance with Loss Prevention and safety policies and/or procedures.
• Keep work area neat and orderly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
