Chuck & Don's Bloomington is seeking a pet groomer to provide upscale grooming services, including bathing, brushing, trimming, and specialized care to improve pets’ appearance and wellbeing.

Role requires 6+ months grooming experience, passion for pets, and flexible availability including evenings/weekends. Benefits include employee discounts, PTO, and a 401(k) program. Excellent customer service and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of professional grooming experience.
• Grooming tools in good working condition.
• Passion for dog grooming and pet well-being.
• Knowledge of breed standards for grooms.
• Skills in scissoring, trimming, bathing, brushing, nails.
• Willingness to learn about offered products/services.
• Flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Perform grooming services (bathing, brushing, trimming, de-matting, etc.).
• Complete pet check-in/check-out with pet parents.
• Communicate pet needs and anomalies to owners.
• Educate pet parents on products and care options.
• Offer enhancements to meet pet and client needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Encourage rebooking and follow-up care.
