Chuck & Don's in Edina, MN is seeking a Groomer to join our upscale pet salon team. You will provide grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, nails, and related care, while delivering exceptional customer service and pet-parent communication.

This full-time role offers a signing bonus up to $1,500, a pay range of $60,000–$100,000 annually (DOE/DOQ), and a comprehensive benefits package. Evening and weekend shifts are required at times, with 60k+ earnings possible through

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Minimum 6 months of professional grooming experience.
• Grooming tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Passion for dog grooming and the well-being of pets.
• Knowledgeable in breed standard grooms.
• Skills in scissoring, cleaning, nail trimming, styling, and other grooming functions.
• Willingness to be educated about products and services offered.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Excellent active-listening and customer service skills.
• Good time management skills.
• Grooming certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete superior grooms (bathing, brushing, blow drying, de-matting, trimming).
• Provide a thorough hands-on pet check-in and check-out process.
• Use good judgment and alert pet parents of anomalies.
• Educate pet parents and share product knowledge.
• Offer enhancements to meet pets' needs and grow the business.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Rebook with pet parents to promote holistic pet care.
• Other duties as assigned.
