Job summary

CM Resort, LLC is seeking an experienced heavy equipment operator to groom our slopes in Conway, NH. You will operate grooming machines to create safe, skiable terrain and support guest satisfaction, with availability for evenings, weekends and holidays.

Candidates should have a minimum of 3+ years in heavy equipment operation, a valid driver's license, and the ability to read safety rules and maintenance guidance. A strong safety mindset is essential for successful performance.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years heavy equipment operator experience required.
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to operate heavy and light equipment and follow directions.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; able to write routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

  • Operate grooming equipment to distribute snow on slopes to provide safe, skiable, desirable and fun terrain.
  • Follow safety rules and maintenance instructions within procedures manuals.
  • Be available for both AM and PM shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

SUMMARY

Operate grooming equipment to ensure snow is distributed on slopes in a manner that offers our guests the safest, most skiable, desirable and fun terrain possible. As a customer focused organization, a crucial part of each employee’s job is to get and keep guests.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years heavy equipment operator experience required & a valid driver's license.
  • Prior experience as winch cat operator with Prinoth and Piston Bully 600 groomers is a plus.
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to operate heavy and light equipment, ability to follow directions.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Compensation is determined by level of experience.Both AM and PM shifts availability.
