Job summary

Vail Resorts in Champion, PA seeks a Snowcat Operator for the Winter Seasonal 2026/2027. Starting wage $20.00-$23.00/hr with Full Time hours. As a Snowcat Operator you will groom snow surfaces, maintain equipment, and collaborate with teams to prepare trails for guests while upholding safety and service standards today and over the season.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with no restrictions.
• Experience operating heavy machinery.
• Able to communicate fluently in English.
• Able to sit for extended periods.
• Must climb in/out of machinery safely.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of grooming equipment.
• Prepare and groom ski area trails and surfaces.
• Work collaboratively with others.
• Minimize downtime through preventative maintenance, cleanliness, and upkeep of machines.
• Other duties as assigned.

As a Snowcat Operator, you will groom and prepare the snow surface for the skiing guest. Job Specifications:

Starting Wage: $20.00/hr - $23.00/hr

The expected pay range is$20.0/hr - $23.0/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
