Pet Supplies Plus is hiring a Bather/Student Groomer (Groom Tech) in Toledo, OH. You will help groom pets, learn through Paragon School of Pet Grooming, and receive a free tool kit upon enrollment. Flexible evenings and weekends are required.

The role emphasizes customer service and pet wellbeing, with paid training and opportunities to advance within the company. Great for pet lovers starting a grooming career.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or other industry working with pets, but not required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to move or lift up to 50 pounds with pets or equipment.
• Ability to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods.
• Ability to review videos and take tests online.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must pass drug screening and be 18+.

Responsibilities

• Delight pets and neighbors with grooming services (brushing, bathing, nails).
• Learn and demonstrate skills to become a groomer via online program.
• Ensure wellness and safety of furry patrons.
• Build relationships by understanding needs and recommending products.
• Keep grooming area clean and inviting.
• Complete Safety Training certification.
• Assist store team during grooming downtime.
