Job summary

Misfits Market in Northlake, IL is seeking a detail-oriented Grocery Warehouse Loadout Associate to prepare and load outgoing grocery shipments for delivery to our last-mile network. The 2nd shift runs Monday–Friday, 2:00 p.m.

– 10:30 p.m., with responsibilities to maximize space, secure loads, and maintain accurate records. You will work in a refrigerated environment (36°F), lift up to 50 lbs, and follow safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience in a refrigerated environment (36°F).
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work overtime and/or weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to stand, squat, kneel, and bend repetitively.
• Produce-handling experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load grocery products onto delivery trucks according to loading schedules, maximizing space and preventing damage.
• Secure load and unload return items from trailers.
• Clean and organize materials for production (palletizing).
• Organize and process recyclable materials.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers while upholding core values.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely as required.
• Maintain clean, orderly work area and follow safety regulations.
• Maintain records of outgoing shipments and report discrepancies to management.
