Job summary

Fiesta Mart is hiring a Utilities Clerk (ages 16-17) for Store 057 Dallas Buckner. The role focuses on store maintenance, bagging groceries, assisting customers, and keeping the store clean and safe. Candidates should be able to lift varying weights and communicate in Spanish and English.

The position supports the Produce Department and daily operations in a busy grocery environment, with opportunities to develop customer service skills and basic retail duties.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with the public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information to customers and employees.
• Apply common sense to carry out written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift up to 25 lbs, up to 45 lbs, and up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in proper store maintenance, especially Produce Dept, and help customers on the floor.
• Bag groceries for customers and carry out groceries if requested.
• Maintain carts, run price checks, assist with go-backs, and keep checkout area clean.
• Work environment is fast-paced with regular lifting and standing requirements.
