Qualifications

• Completed or working towards a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Keeps the Grocery department stocked, organized and appealing to meet customer demands and maximize sales; builds displays to drive incremental sales.
• Smiles and greets customers, answers questions and helps resolve concerns promptly in a polite, professional manner.
• Applies proper stocking techniques to ensure products are located on shelves with correct prices and signs.
• May assist with receiving, unloading, checking-in, breaking-down, and storing deliveries with powered equipment if trained.
• Maintains sanitation; follows cleaning schedules to ensure work areas meet health and OSHA requirements.
• Maintains productivity standards and shrink control; cooperates with coworkers to ensure smooth department operation.
• May assist in other departments as needed.
