Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Barnstable, MA is seeking a Team Member for grocery operations. You will maintain fresh displays, stock shelves, assist with sampling, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while delivering friendly customer service.

Experience is not required; willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends is essential. You will participate in team trainings and support store programs and promotions.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must follow WFM procedures and health and safety rules.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand/walk most of the shift.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Serve customers with courteous, friendly service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fresh, appealing displays; stock shelves and face products.
• Stock and clean grocery shelves, bulk bins, dairy and frozen cases.
• Monitor spoilage and communicate waste to relevant teams.
• Maintain back stock and assist with sampling program.
• Provide excellent customer service and upsell when appropriate.
• Follow safety, weights, measures and sanitation procedures.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties and ensure accurate signage.
• Report safety hazards promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
