Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a reliable Team Member to support the Grocery team by stocking shelves, preparing products, and maintaining clean displays. You will assist with deliveries, ensure accurate pricing, and provide courteous service to customers and team members in a fast-paced environment.

No prior retail experience is required. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and adherence to all health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensures fresh, appealing displays by front-facing, rotating stock and checking codes.
• Stocks and cleans grocery shelves, bulk bins, frozen and dairy cases.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to team and buyers.
• Maintains back stock in good order and assists with sampling programs.
• Completes worksheets for spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep procedures.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures accurate signs and pricing.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Adheres to health, safety, and Weights & Measures requirements.
