Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking entry-level team members to maintain clean, fresh displays and stock shelves across departments. You will assist with sampling, manage back stock, and ensure accurate pricing while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced grocery environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensures a fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked, front-facing, rotating and removing out-of-date products.
• Stocks and cleans grocery shelves, bulk bins, frozen and dairy case.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to buyers, Team Leaders, and shift supervisor.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling, keeping areas full, clean and appealing.
• Completes worksheets for spoilage, sampling, temperature and sweep as required.
• Assists with periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives on time, groomed and ready to work; works all shifts and attends trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs promptly, and models suggestive selling; answers phones courteously.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storing, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows procedures including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary environment and equipment per WFM standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures pricing signs are accurate.
• Reports safety hazards and violations immediately.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.
