Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Boston is seeking a Team Member for the Grocery department. You will support receiving, stocking, and maintaining displays while delivering courteous service to customers and Team Members, in alignment with WFM standards.

The role involves breaking down deliveries, ensuring shelves are clean and well stocked, and assisting with sampling programs and pricing accuracy. No prior retail experience required. We offer Whole Benefits and store perks.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand/walk for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour shift.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintains fresh and appealing displays by stocking, front-facing, rotating, and checking codes.
• Stocks grocery shelves, bulk bins, frozen and dairy cases and maintains back stock.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to buyers and supervisors.
• Provides excellent customer service and assists with inquiries.
• Preps and merchandises products to maximize sales potential.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures and keeps areas clean.
• Completes opening, mid, and closing duties and ensures accurate pricing.
• Reports safety hazards promptly and supports store programs.
