Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a team member to support grocery operations on the floor, including receiving, stocking, and merchandising. The role emphasizes courteous, efficient service and adherence to health and safety standards, with flexible duties across shifts.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean displays, assisting customers, and supporting inventory and pricing accuracy while upholding WFM core values and policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to sell proactively and upsell, while maintaining friendly service.
• Strong customer service mindset and willingness to assist customers and Team Members.
• Clear communication, both with customers and team members.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced grocery environment.
• Attention to details in checking codes, prices, and stock levels.
• Good time management to handle shifts, rotations, and duties.
• Awareness of food safety standards and proper handling of products.
• Ability to perform basic math for transactions and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fresh, appealing displays by front-facing and stocking products.
• Stock and clean grocery shelves, bulk bins, frozen and dairy cases.
• Monitor spoilage and communicate waste to buyers and supervisors.
• Maintain back stock in good order and assist with sampling programs.
• Complete required worksheets for spoilage, temperature, and sweep checks.
• Assist with periodic inventory checks and price accuracy.
• Provide excellent customer service and address customer needs promptly.
• Follow procedures for safe handling, sanitation, and Weights & Measures.
