Whole Foods Market in Basalt, CO is seeking a Grocery Team Member to support receiving, stocking, and merchandising while delivering friendly, efficient service aligned with WFM standards. You’ll help keep displays fresh, faces stocked, and prices accurate throughout the shift.

No prior retail experience is required. You may lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Safety and teamwork are emphasized.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• 8-hour work day with standing/walking 6–8 hours.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with urgency.

Responsabilités

• Ensures fresh, appealing displays by stocking and front-facing.
• Stocks shelves, bulk bins, dairy and frozen cases.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to team and buyers.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program; keeps areas full and tidy.
• Completes spoiling, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets.
• Contributes to periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives on time, properly groomed, and attends trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling.
• Maintains signs and pricing accuracy; reports hazards.
• Follows safety and sanitation procedures and WFM standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
• Performs other duties as requested by leadership.
