Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking an entry-level Team Member to support the Grocery team by stocking shelves, preparing product displays, and assisting customers. You’ll help with breaking down deliveries, rotating stock, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met on the shop floor.

The role emphasizes friendly, efficient service, adherence to health regulations, and teamwork. No prior retail experience is required, and the position may involve lifting and working a flexible schedule

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to read labels and understand product information.
• Ability to perform simple math operations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to customer service and helping store operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensures fresh, appealing displays by front-facing and stocking cases.
• Stocks and cleans grocery shelves, bulk bins, frozen and dairy cases.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to buyers and supervisors.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling areas and keeps them clean and appealing.
• Completes worksheets for spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep.
• Arrives on time and participates in required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maintains clean and safe working/shopping environments per procedures.
