Price Rite of READING is seeking an Assistant Store Manager who will direct and develop store staff to protect assets, maintain presentation, and maximize sales and profits. You will oversee sanitation, payroll, and compliance with policies and laws, while fostering a team-focused environment for a strong customer experience.

The position requires leadership, at least two years of management experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Two-plus years related management experience.
• Associate Degree preferred or equivalent of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages.
• Maintains Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Direct, develop and manage store staff to protect assets and maximize sales.
• Ensure sanitation, merchandising, payroll and records comply with policies and laws.
• Maintain store conditions and presentation to company standards.
