Goodwin Recruiting is seeking a dynamic Grocery Store Co-Manager in Charleston to lead a high-performing store and mentor the next generation of leaders.

You will focus on guest service, front-end excellence, and building a sales-driven culture while managing labor, inventory, and shrink to meet budget goals.

The role offers a base salary up to 75k (DOE) plus bonuses, with a strong people-first culture and clear paths to senior roles.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in a grocery store leadership role.
• Proven leader with passion for retail, operations, and guest service.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing labor, inventory, shrink, and other expenses.
• Detail-oriented operator who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest satisfaction with courtesy, fast service, and front-end excellence.
• Support Store Managers and the Store Director in building a strong, sales-driven culture.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, forecasting labor needs, and managing labor to meet budgeted goals.
• Conduct weekly manager audits of front-end operations, DSD receiving, and pricing accuracy.
• Manage grocery inventory to achieve shrink results.
• Monitor store conditions through frequent, detailed store walks and respond quickly to opportunities.
• Provide ongoing communication with Store Managers, Field Merchandisers, and store hosts to keep everyone aligned and informed.
