Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking team players to maintain grocery stock, displays, and quality control. You will operate pallet jacks, unload incoming products, rotate per expiry dates, and assist customers with price checks and product locating.

Expect to keep a clean, safe work area, follow safety procedures, and participate in suggestive selling to boost sales while providing friendly service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirements and ability to operate pallet jack safely.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 75 lbs as needed.
• Maintain stock and ensure food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintains full stock conditions on grocery display racks and shelves.
• Operates pallet jack to unload product from warehouse trucks and reloads trucks with return items.
• Ensures dated product is stocked, rotated, or discarded properly if unsold.
• Inspects product for quality and maintains quality control and food safety standards.
• Collects empty cardboard boxes and other trash and places into bailer.
• Assists fellows and customers by responding to price checks and locating products.
• Promotes product sales through suggestive selling initiatives.
• Provides friendly, customer service-oriented attitude by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving complaints.
• Maintains clean, safe and sanitary working and shopping environment by adhering to safety procedures.
