Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company, based in Texas, is seeking a grocery department team member to maintain stock, assist customers, and uphold food safety standards. The role requires operating pallet jacks, rotating stock, and delivering friendly customer service in a fast-paced retail setting.

Ideal candidates are 16+ years old (with 18+ to operate equipment) and can work nights, weekends, and holidays. On-the-job training is provided as part of our everyday commitment to teamwork and safe store

Qualifications

Require ability to operate pallet jack or equipment used in grocery departments.
Must understand and follow food safety practices and company standards.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced retail environment as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Maintain full stock conditions on grocery displays and shelves.
Operate pallet jack to unload from trucks and reload with returns.
Ensure dated products are stocked, rotated, or discarded properly.
Inspect product quality and maintain food safety standards.
Assist customers and colleagues by answering questions and locating items.
Promote sales with suggestive selling and friendly service.
Maintain a clean, safe working and shopping environment following safety procedures.
