Job summary

Redner's Markets, Inc. in Shenandoah, PA is seeking a Grocery Stock Clerk to keep shelves stocked, neat, and inviting for guests. You will help unload and stock items, price products as needed, and assist with displays to enhance in-store presentation.

You will rotate perishable merchandise, greet customers, follow store policies, and maintain a neat appearance. This is a non-exempt, hourly position supporting the Grocery department.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write to properly tag merchandise, maintain inventory levels.
• Ability to unload, transport, and place merchandise in specific areas.
• Able to lift up to seventy pounds for extended periods.
• Must stand upright for most of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Unload, stock, and organize grocery items on shelves and displays.
• Transport stock to the sales floor as needed.
• Open cartons and price items accurately according to guidelines.
• Keep shelves fully stocked and organized by tag allocations.
• Assist in building store displays and end displays.
• Rotate perishables and pull out-of-code product as needed.
• Follow department policies and maintain a neat appearance.
• Greet customers and be observant on the sales floor.
• Abide by the employee handbook and company policies.
