Job summary

Redner's Markets is seeking a friendly, efficient Retail Associate to provide top-notch customer service, accurately scanning items, and keeping the store clean, stocked, and safe. You will assist at the cashier, stock shelves, and help with inventory tasks when needed.

Responsibilities include cash handling, bagging groceries, and completing daily store tasks such as stocking coolers, gas pumps area, produce, and trash. You may assist in other departments (e.g., sub shop).

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds up to 40% of the time.
• Must be able to stand upright for the majority of the shift.
• Strong communication and math skills are required.
• Dexterity to scan and bag groceries properly.
• Knowledge of store policies including lottery tickets is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Scan grocery orders accurately and efficiently.
• Identify proper departments for items that do not scan.
• Follow cash drop policies and complete required paperwork.
• Assist in other areas beyond the cash register (e.g., fill cigarette racks, coolers, produce racks, bags of ice).
• Clean and maintain store areas including bathrooms, floors, and exterior spaces.
• Provide first-class customer service at all times.
