Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC) is seeking a Grocery Associate to maintain product levels and ensure display standards in our grocery department.

You will operate pallet jacks, restock shelves, rotate dated items, assist customers, and uphold safety procedures while delivering friendly service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 years.
• Must be 18+ to operate equipment.
• 21+ to drive for Company business according to policy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full stock conditions on grocery display racks and shelves.
• Operate pallet jack to unload product from warehouse trucks and reloads trucks with return items (partners 18yrs.+).
• Ensure dated product is stocked, rotated, or discarded properly if unsold.
• Inspect product for quality and maintain food safety standards.
• Assist fellow partners and customers by responding to price check questions and locating product.
• Promote product sales through suggestive selling initiatives.
• Provide friendly, customer service-oriented attitude by greeting customers and answering questions.
• Maintain clean, safe and sanitary working and shopping environment by following safety procedures.
