Brookshire Grocery Company (BGC) is hiring for a grocery department team member at our Tyler-area stores. You will help maintain stock levels, assist customers, and ensure products meet company standards and food safety practices.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must be at least 18 years old to operate equipment.
• 21 years or older to drive for Company business per BGC policy.
• Typically involves on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full stock conditions on grocery display racks and shelves.
• Operate pallet jack to unload product from warehouse trucks and reload trucks with return items.
• Ensure dated product is stocked, rotated, or discarded properly.
• Inspect product quality and maintain food safety standards.
• Assist fellow partners and customers by responding to price check questions and locating product.
• Promote product sales through suggestive selling initiatives.
• Greet customers and respond to questions/complaints with a friendly, service-oriented attitude.
• Maintain a clean, safe, sanitary environment by following company safety procedures.
• Follow safety measures when using equipment and report hazards to supervisors.
