Job summary

Weis Markets in Parkville, MO is seeking a friendly Grocery Associate to stock, build displays, greet customers, and help run the department efficiently. You will rotate merchandise, ensure correct pricing and signage, and assist with deliveries as needed.

• Completed or working towards a High School Diploma or GED; no prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Keeps the Grocery department well stocked, organized and appealing to meet customer demands and maximize sales.
• Smiles and greets customers, answers questions and helps resolve concerns promptly in a polite and professional manner.
• Applies proper stocking techniques to ensure products are properly located on shelves and correctly priced.
• May assist with receiving, unloading, checking-in, and storing deliveries with training provided.
• Handles damaged or discontinued items according to company policy and removes unsellable merchandise.
• Maintains sanitation and cleanliness in the department in line with health and OSHA requirements.
• Maintains productivity and shrink control; complies with security regulations and company standards.
• May assist in other departments as needed.
