Responsibilities

• Keeps the Grocery department well stocked, organized and appealing to meet customer demands and maximize sales.
• Smiles and greets customers, answers customer questions and helps resolve customer concerns promptly in a polite and professional manner.
• Applies proper stocking techniques to ensure products are properly located on shelves, with correct prices and signs.
• May assist with receiving, unloading, checking-in, breaking-down, and storing deliveries via power jack or hand jack (if trained).
• Handles damaged or discontinued items according to policy and removes unsellable product.
• Maintains sanitation in the department and follows cleaning schedules to meet health and OSHA requirements.
