Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking a friendly, customer-focused associate for our Grocery department. You will stock shelves, build displays, greet customers, and help resolve questions or concerns in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes safe stocking practices, proper pricing and signage, and adherence to health and OSHA guidelines. Training is provided, and there may be opportunities to assist other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or in progress.
• No prior experience required for entry level position.
• Ability to perform stocking, cleaning and customer service duties safely.

Responsibilities

• Keeps Grocery department stocked, organized and appealing to maximize sales.
• Greet customers, answer questions and resolve concerns professionally.
• Apply stocking techniques, ensure correct prices and signage.
• Assist with receiving, unloading and storing deliveries.
• Handle damaged or discontinued items per policy and maintain sanitation.
• Follow PPE and safety guidelines and keep work areas clean.
• Support department efficiency and shrink control; cooperate with teammates.
• Occasionally assist other departments as needed.
