Job summary

H.E.B. is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to help customers and transport groceries from the Store to their vehicles, assisting with unloading and packaging. You will assist customers in locating merchandise and ensure a smooth shopping experience.

The role includes stocking and sanitation duties—gathers baskets, maintains bag areas, replaces supplies, and handles cart relocation. It also requires lifting up to 55 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in a fast-paced retail

Responsibilities

• Assists in unloading merchandise from baskets.
• Packages groceries; helps customers transport/unload groceries to their vehicles.
• Assists customers in locating merchandise.
• Gathers baskets and picks up trash inside and outside store.
• Maintains and stocks bag areas; returns products to proper locations.
• Stocks and stages bags; stocks check stand supplies.
• Distributes Buddy bucks to registers; replaces anti-fatigue mats.
• Carts & parts basket relocation and power-washing basket relocation for department setup.
• Performs red basket fill up / retrieval.
• Cleans, mops, dusts, sweeps, vacuums check stand area, Return Center, and CCO area to maintain store cleanliness and safety.
