Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Grocery Clerk to deliver outstanding customer service, help customers find products, and maintain a clean, safe store environment. You will support the department manager in achieving sales and quality standards while following safety and sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities include assisting with product recommendations, stocking, coordinating with store staff, and ensuring accurate labeling and price integrity.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in discovering items and answering questions about products.
• Inform customers of specials and recommend items to meet needs.
• Check product quality for freshness and review sell-by dates.
• Provide customers with ordered grocery products, both fresh and non-perishable.
• Label, stock, and ensure department merchandise is organized.
• Report discrepancies in ordering/shipping to the department manager.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper temperatures.
• Know products well to respond to inquiries and make recommendations.
