Job summary

Weis Markets in Conshohocken is seeking an energetic team member for our Grocery Department. You will help keep the department stocked, organized, and appealing to customers, build displays, and ensure accurate pricing and signage.

You will greet shoppers, answer questions, and support smooth store operations. No prior experience is required; a high school diploma or GED is preferred. Weis Markets is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Completed or working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Keeps the Grocery department well stocked, organized and appealing to meet customer demands and maximize sales.
• Build displays to drive incremental sales. Stocks and rotates merchandise to ensure freshness and correct pricing.
• Smiles and greets customers, answers questions and helps resolve concerns promptly in a polite and professional manner.
• Applies proper stocking techniques to ensure products are properly located on shelves and correctly priced.
• Assists with receiving, unloading and stocking deliveries if trained.
• Maintains department sanitation and follows cleaning schedules to meet health and OSHA requirements.
• Maintains productivity standards, shrink control and adheres to security regulations.
• Cooperates with co-workers and supervisors to ensure smooth department operations.
• Uses provided PPE and may assist in other departments.
