Responsibilities

• Keeps the Grocery department well stocked, organized and appealing to meet customer demands and maximize sales.
• Builds displays to drive incremental sales.
• Stocks and rotates merchandise to ensure freshness.
• Greets customers and helps resolve questions and concerns in a polite, professional manner.
• Applies proper stocking techniques to ensure products are properly located and priced.
• Assists with receiving, unloading, checking-in, and storing deliveries (training provided).
• Handles damaged or discontinued items per policy and removes unsellable products.
• Maintains sanitation and follows cleaning schedules to keep work areas clean and OSHA compliant.
• Ensures smooth department operation and cooperation with coworkers and supervisors.
• May assist in other departments as needed.
