Job summary

P.L. Marketing, Inc. is seeking a Merchandiser to drive successful execution of KOMPASS schedules, resets, and special projects in Kroger stores. The role ensures timely and accurate completion of grocery store resets and supports division merchandising aligned with The Ruler Co. mission.

The candidate will read planograms, position products, and communicate progress to store and district leadership. Must have retail grocery experience, strong English, and be able to travel.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Be 18 years of age or older.
• 3+ years of retail grocery merchandising experience preferred.
• Fluent English (read, write and speak).
• Read and execute shelf plans and plan-o-grams.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to learn computer systems.
• Able to collaborate with others and work as a team.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and multitask.
• Insurable driver with clean driving record.
• Smartphone with data access; may need a company app.
• Personal tape measure and safety gloves may be required.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand plan-o-grams.
• Collect plan-o-grams, new item tags and prepare work area to complete section reset.
• Re-position shelving and place product according to updated schematic.
• Complete forms and report section completion to Ruler and supervisors.
• Facilitate completion of reset work and special projects as scheduled.
• Identify opportunities to increase Kroger Corporate Brand sales and improvements.
• Communicate status updates to Ruler management.
• Provide direction for resetting sections according to plan.
• Support P.L. Marketing and Ruler staff as needed.
• Gain expertise in grocery industry, product placement, surge/temporary, and supply-chain/stocking.
