Job summary

Roche Bros. Supermarkets in West Acton, MA, is looking for a Receiver to manage the Retalix system and coordinate inbound merchandise in the store?s receiving area. You will direct vendors, ensure proper storage, and uphold excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include verifying invoices, safeguarding deliveries, and maintaining security at the receiving door while supporting a collaborative, efficient store team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Complete training in grocery or receiving operation.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and follow instructions.
• Schedule based on store business needs.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist and thank customers promptly and cordially.
• Ensure all grocery deliveries are received and stored safely.
• Oversee direct store deliveries for invoice accuracy and product authorization.
• Verify merchandise against vendor invoices by counting/inspecting units.
• Report price discrepancies or problems to management.
• Maintain security at receiving door; proper entry only for vendors.
• Maintain Retalix system and receiving paperwork; timely invoice submission.
• Notify management of shrink, inventory, or security issues.
• Follow safety practices; keep area clean and free from hazards.
