Job summary

Price Rite in Bridgeport, CT is seeking a Receiver to ensure accurate receiving of deliveries and maintain a neat, organized back room. You will support store operations by processing shipments, verifying invoices, and preserving product quality.

Qualifications

• Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to regularly lift 25 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to interact with Customers in a friendly and helpful way.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Ability to maintain punctual and regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor grocery storage area for cleanliness, neatness and preparation for next shift.
• Verify all invoices for accuracy involving cost, retail and quantity.
• Greet all Customers and provide them with prompt, courteous service.
• Operate equipment and follow safety procedures in department.
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Rotate and manage merchandise, including loading/unloading
• Follow QA and safety standards and company policies.
