Whole Foods Co-Op in Denfeld-Duluth, MN is seeking a Grocery Purchasing Coordinator. This full-time role oversees supply, storage, rotation, stocking, preparation and display of products, while leading staff and training in WFC policies to meet sales, margin and customer-service goals.

You will coordinate supplier orders, monitor stock levels, manage pricing with IT, and ensure compliance with Organic Standards Handling Plan.

Formación

• Experience in retail, grocery, natural foods and/or cooperative business.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Experience using purchasing and merchandising systems.
• 18 years of age or older.

Responsabilidades

• Receive, purchase, price, process special orders and merchandise designated products through approved suppliers to meet department goals.
• Ensure adequate and timely supply of products from vendors and manage pricing/promotions with IT.
• Ensure items are stocked and reordered to prevent stockouts.
• Direct, train and develop designated employees to meet department goals.
• Maintain department accountability and performance standards.
• Assist customers and respond to inquiries promptly and route calls.
