Whole Foods Market is seeking a detail-oriented Team Member to assist in ordering, replenishing, and merchandising grocery products while supporting purchase and promotions programs. You will monitor inventory, back stock, and order accuracy to maximize sales and minimize waste.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of grocery products.
• Working knowledge and application of all grocery merchandising expectations.
• Ability to educate team on product knowledge and convey enthusiasm.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge and ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and ordering systems.
• Strong to excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to deliver information in a clear and respectable manner to fellow Team Members, customers, and vendors.
• Ability to meet customer service expectations and standards in all interactions with customers, vendors, and Team Members.
• Ability to follow directions and procedures; effective time management and organization skills.

Responsabilités

• Completes Order Writer training.
• Replenishes products using proper buying procedures.
• Orders perishable and non-perishable goods and maintains back stock.
• Monitors open PO reports for purchases and credits.
• Controls spoilage and shrink; participates in inventory checks.
• Performs spoilage and inventory processes, temps, and sweep worksheets.
• Ensures timely and accurate orders to optimize inventory turns.
• Oversees customer special order procedure.
• Analyzes transfers, waste and spoilage; supports inventories.
• Maintains profitability by meeting purchasing and sales targets.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; checks pricing.
• Reports safety hazards immediately.
