Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Hyannis, MA is seeking a versatile Team Member to support grocery ordering, replenishment, and merchandising while upholding our health and safety standards.

You will participate in inventory control, back stock management, and ensure timely orders while delivering friendly, efficient service to customers and team members. This role requires flexibility to work a range of shifts and a proactive approach to food safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Retail experience: 12+ months.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of grocery products.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Completes Order Writer training.
• Replenishes products through proper buying procedures.
• Orders perishable and non-perishable products and maintains back stock.
• Monitors open PO reports for purchases and credits.
• Controls spoilage and participates in inventory/cycle counts.
• Ensures orders are timely and accurate to monitor inventory turns.
• Oversees customer special order procedure.
• Supports leadership in inventories.
• Provides courteous customer service and promotes suggestive selling.
