Job summary

The Fresh Market Inc is seeking a Grocery Manager to lead team members, manage department inventory, pricing integrity, and other critical operational processes. This fast-paced role requires efficiency, attention to detail, and a passion for excellence to drive results.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, making recommendations, managing ordering deadlines, stocking with rotation standards, directing merchandising efforts, training staff, and potentially overseeing store operations or

Qualifications

• 3 years of management experience in grocery retail, restaurant and/or culinary experience.
• Ability to read, understand and follow planograms, layouts, and schematics of the department for merchandising.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and proactively assist them with accurate and timely service.
• Make recommendations and accommodate requests.
• Manage order guides, ordering deadlines, and reduce shrink/damage.
• Receive and stock goods following rotation standards when replenishing product levels.
• Direct teams to handle, rest, and merchandise of goods to TFMs standards.
• On-the-job coaching and training of team members to provide excellent guest service in a safe and secure manner.
• Potentially handle total store operations or Manager on Duty (MOD).
