Vallarta Supermarkets in Duarte, CA is seeking a Grocery Manager to lead the grocery department, drive sales and uphold our merchandising standards while delivering extraordinary customer experiences in a fast-paced setting.

You will supervise staff, manage inventory, forecast demand, and partner with vendors to ensure on-shelf availability. The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of retail grocery management, strong leadership, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Retail grocery management experience required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to forecast sales and control expenses.
• Proficient in Outlook, Excel and Word.

• Build and maintain displays, schematics, and signage according to standards.

• Oversee quarterly physical inventory and daily rotation of perishable products.
• Forecast sales, place orders with vendors, and control overstocks/out-of-stocks.
• Review invoices and transfers; report discrepancies immediately.
