Minimum qualifications:

  • Ability to handle stressful situations
  • Effective communication skills
  • Basic math skills: counting, addition, and subtraction
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the position
  • Must be 18 or older

Desired qualifications:

  • Retail experience
  • Second language skills: speaking, reading, and/or writing
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities include:

  • Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions and providing product suggestions.
  • Maintain knowledge of products and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Recommend frozen food items and ensure product quality and freshness.
  • Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
  • Report discrepancies and stay current with advertisements.
  • Adhere to food safety, health, and safety regulations, including maintaining proper temperatures and logs.
  • Assist with building displays, stocking, and ensuring product availability.
  • Follow safety procedures, report accidents, and identify unsafe conditions.
  • Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
