Job summary

Kroger is seeking a customer-focused team member to support department operations, help customers, and ensure a clean, safe shopping environment. You will assist the department manager in achieving sales goals and uphold quality standards across the store.

Responsibilities include answering questions, stocking products, maintaining temperatures and safety logs, and participating in regular safety procedures. Prior retail experience and strong communication are a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers and answer questions about products.
• Know products in the department and in-store to suggest items.
• Recommend grocery items and inform customers of specials.
• Check product quality, review sell-by dates and take action.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise; ensure fresh products.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the manager.
• Maintain a positive attitude and stay current with ads.
