Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Merchandising Coordinator - Grocery in Phoenix to support the Grocery Category Management team.

You will manage new item submissions, set up, ad directives, and store orders for DSD vendors, acting as the primary Grocery contact for stores with inquiries. The role requires at least 2 years in Grocery or related food industry experience, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Buying, Marketing or related Business field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Grocery, Merchandising and/or food industry experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and maintain effective working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate new item submissions and sample management.
• Enter new items into Portal and communicate with brands/brokers for information.
• Assist category team with new item reviews and item deliveries.
• Work with Grocery suppliers to gather item, cost, and delivery details.
• Facilitate new store orders for DSD vendors and manage related reports.
