Job summary

H MART - Corp in Carlstadt, NJ is seeking a Store Operations Supervisor to drive store performance, manage inventory, and optimize merchandising. You will review weekly sales, recommend orders, restock shortages, and adjust displays to boost category sales.

Collaborate with HQ, perform quality checks, and guide managers with operational analytics. A grocery background and SCM understanding are preferred; Korean/English bilingualism is a plus. Includes comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Strong understanding of grocery retail operations and supply chain concepts.
• 3+ years in grocery, merchandiser, or sales roles preferred.
• Bilingual in Korean and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review weekly sale performance of stores.
• Suggest orders and restocking of missing/shortage items.
• Suggest markdowns, price changes, or clear-outs on slow-moving items.
• Suggest sale items and main display items to maximize sales of various categories.
• Promote new items suggested by the SCM team.
• Maintain store quality results by enforcing HQ standards.
• Rotate sale items by best-selling items to provide a fresh atmosphere.
• Liaise between store and HQ on ad hoc issues.
• Conduct store quality checks to fulfill customer needs.
• Support store managers with store analysis on operations and efficiency.
• Act as communicator between stores and HQ addressing customer issues.
• Review marketability of new items and provide feedback to improve purchasing decisions.
• Review and provide feedback on special events and promotions.
• Conduct trend analysis and identify areas of improvement.
• Support and participate in assigned continuous improvement projects.
