Allied Universal is hiring a Loss Prevention Associate for a Manhattan grocery store. The role focuses on preventing theft, monitoring the sales floor, and ensuring a safe shopping environment. Afternoon shifts and a Tuesday–Sunday schedule are available, with a pay rate of $24.63 to $25.63 per hour.

Applicants should have a background in security or loss prevention, be at least 18, and successfully complete a background check and drug screen. Prior law enforcement experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication with the public.
• Licensing requirements per state/local laws.
• Security/retail loss prevention background preferred; undercover experience a plus.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Display strong customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record and driving eligibility.

Responsabilités

• Oversee loss prevention at a Manhattan grocery store.
• Surveil the floor and deter theft through presence and observation.
• Detect and apprehend shoplifters per company policy.
• Coordinate with store and security teams to protect people and assets.
• Work afternoons; adapt to Tuesday–Sunday schedule.
