This position requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma (or 5 years verifiable experience), and the ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends. Prior security, law enforcement, or military background is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Effective written and verbal communication with the public.
• Background check and a drug screen required.
• Previous law enforcement or military preferred; retail LP experience a plus.
• Ability to travel to stores within 25 miles.
• Ability to work retail hours including evenings and weekends.
• Experience with retail security cameras.
• Able to blend into a retail environment and deter shoplifters.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and climb stairs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loss prevention at the Food Market location in Tribeca.
• Detect and apprehend shoplifters following company policy.
• Operate and monitor security camera systems.
• Provide customer service in a retail setting.
• Respond to emergencies and crisis situations.
