Qualifications

• The minimum required qualifications include reading, writing and speaking English.
• Basic Math skills are required.
• Ability to understand and follow directions as given.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform the job.
• Ability to lift boxes up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to operate a Telxon scanner.
• Possession or ability to obtain a Company-recognized Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Observe store rules and company policies.
• Maintain neat, well-groomed appearance and dress code.
• Follow shift hours as scheduled by store manager.
• Adhere to health and civil code regulations.
• Promote customer satisfaction with correctly priced items.
• Rotate products to ensure freshest stock.
• Maintain shelf allocations for maximum sales.
• Follow cleaning and sanitation schedules.
• Remove trash to designated areas.
• Operate the bailer and power equipment as needed.
• Ring up purchases and operate checkout procedures.
• Use store security systems and keys per policy.
• Notify supervisor of product shortages and manage stock.
• Build product displays and organize backroom stock.
• Unload trucks as necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
