Price Rite in PROVIDENCE, RI is hiring a Grocery Lead Clerk (Full Time) in the Operations department. You will help stock, price, and rotate merchandise, ring up customers, and maintain store standards.

The role emphasizes safety, presentation, and excellent customer service as part of our service priorities. Training and opportunities for career advancement are available within our Price Rite stores.

Qualifications

• Minimum required qualifications: reading, writing and speaking English.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to bend and reach.
• Lift boxes up to 60 lbs.
• Operate a Telxon scanner.
• Push/pull 4-wheel equipment with product.

Responsibilities

• Receive task directions from Manager on Duty and ensure pricing, facing, and rotation of merchandise.
• Perform duties to keep store clean, neat, and well stocked.
• Follow safety rules and use equipment properly.
• Communicate daily with MOD about issues and task progress.
• Observe store policies and maintain professional appearance.
• Assist with adherence to health and civil code regulations.
• Ring up purchases and operate customer service points.
